Our Team - CKN Core Team - Minhyung Kang

Minhyung Kang is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Collective Intelligence, MIT. He is interested in applying social network analysis methodology to business practices such as knowledge managment and supply chain management. His dissertation topic was about the impact of social networks on the knoweldge transfer performance of R&D employees. During his doctoral course, he was also involved in several knowledge management projects as a researcher at Knowledge Management Research Center, KAIST.

Currently, he is trying to expand his research area by exploring dynamic properties of social networks in online knowledge sharing sites such as Yahoo! Answers and Naver Knowledge-iN. Before getting into the academic world, he worked five years for software company i2 Technologies as a solution architect. During that time, he built up expertise in supply chain management processes, such as forecasting and order management, and enterprise software archtecture.
