Creating a Dynamic Visualization Movie
By clicking the "Dynamic View" Button, an animated movie of the communication flow is generated.
Users can load more than one dataset for simultaneous viewing and instantaneous comparison of group dynamics in different groups.

In this example there are three communities, commbld (red), ckndiag (green), and survey (blue). The colors can be changed by the user. In the animation below users that are active in more than one community are shown as black dots.

Dragging the mouse over a node shows the name of the person, clicking on a node shows all the messages sent and received by the person, including the content of the message (if contents has been included in the parsing step).

Clicking on the "Centrality" and "Contribution Index" buttons brings up two windows that show the temporal evolution of the group betweeneess centrality of the different communities as well as the contribution index of all individuals.

Users can also visualize the "diffusion of innovation" by selecting a combination of keywords as a boolean expression. In the example below the first use of the keyword "diagnostic" within the entire community (all three datasets) is tracked. Links where the keyword has been used are in color, all the other links are in grey. Links that are within the 30 day time window are in active color, older links are dimmed out.

Clicking on the "Fisheye" button brings up the Fisheye controll, permitting the user to zoom into the network using a "fish eye view filter". Dragging the red square moves the focus of the fish eye view.
