Creating a Visualization of Mailinglist Communication Activities
The visualization of mailing lists works identical to the visualization of Outlook and Eudora mailboxes.
First the database has to be selected. The Online parser stores its data into the "online_test" database, so this database has to be selected.
Cickling on the "Create View" button brings up the dialogs to choose the time intervall and to merge e-mail addresses.
Clicking on any of the "view: buttons brings up the graphical views of the communication activies. In this example the "dynamic view" button has been clicked.
Dragging the mouse over a node shows the name of the person, clicking on a node shows all the messages sent and received by the person, including the content of the message (if contents has been included in the parsing step).
